The MR1250vf is a powerful 600 watt amplifier configured
into six stereo amplifiers each rated at 50 watts per channel. The MR1250vf
is designed to meet the amplifier needs of custom installed multi-zone
systems where high quality sound is a specific requirement.
Each stereo amplifier when used with the VC201 keypad features
individual volume, mute, bass, treble and balance controls. Each keypad
can turn the amplifier on and off (the RB8 remote control can also when
used with the VC201f keypad!). Extras such as an output 12 volt trigger
voltage, a DATA port to connect two or more MR1250vf's in larger systems
as well as channel link give the MR1250vf exceptional value when installed
in homes and large complex systems. Except for the MR1250vf power button,
all controls are rear mounted.
Key Features:
Six internal 40 position stereo volume controls.The six
volume controls each require one to three VC201
keypad(s) or one VC201e or one VC201f infrared keypad. The keypads are
typically mounted in the room with the speakers and they control amplifier
power on/off, volume up/down and mute
Cost and size efficiency.The MR1250vf consists of a total
of 12 power amplifiers in one 3-1/2" high enclosure (two rack spaces).
Each power amplifier channel can deliver 50 watts RMS with peaks of 100
watts. Because of its unique design the MR1250vf delivers exceptional value.
Automatic protection circuitry. Each MR1250vf channel
is individually and fully protected against low impedance, overheating,
overloading, overvoltage and undervoltage. The protection circuitry automatically
restores the amplifier channel as soon as its parameter returns to the
safe operating area.
Individual bass, treble and balance adjustment. Each channel
features adjustments on the rear of the MR1250vf so installers can preset
the room for speaker differences and listener preferences.
External power on/off. The MR1250vf can turn on and off
ancillary equipment with its 12vdc trigger output.
Channel link. Channel link allows the installer to link
any or all of stereo channels two through six to channel one (left and
right) without using Y cords or external adaptors. In certain applications
this feature reduces installation time, costs and wire "clutter".
MR1250vf with internal fan. The quiet internal fan increases
the long-term power output capability of the MR1250vf.
Optional rack mount kit. Fits MR1250vf
occupying two rack spaces.

Rear view:
Please note the gold input and output connectors. The DATA
jack (bottom row center) allows multiple MR1250vf's to be connected for

VC201 keypads control the MR1250vf
Each of the six stereo amplifiers in the MR1250vf are individually
controlled (power on/off, volume up/down and mute) by the VC201.
The VC201e adds infrared pass-through. The VC201f keypad has infrared
pass through and can also control the MR1250vf with Knoll RB8 infrared remote
controls . VC201e and VC201f keypads use the same wiring as the
VC201. The VC201, VC201e and VC201f keypads are available in white,
ivory (bone) and almond colors. |
RB8 Knoll infrared remote
control. Controls volume, mute and power on each stereo channel.
RK1250 rack mount kit for standard 19" rack. Occupies
two rack spaces and we strongly recommend blank spaces above and below
for maximum power output.
VC201 Keypad with six volume
level leds, power led, up down and mute buttons on paddle switch. One
gang space.
