HDP420 Projector 1080p Rocks! STYLE AND SUBSTANCE, KNOLL DOES IT AGAIN! A stunning fusion of precision tuned video performance and exceptional visual design: the Knoll HDP420. The full HD 1080p HDP420 projector will please even the most demanding videophile with brilliant, deep and undeniably rich images. You’ll soon agree that every moment spent watching your favorite movie or the big game projected in true High Definition is a well-deserved indulgence. The HDP420 boasts a native resolution of 1920 x 1080, is fully DTV compatible, and will accept and display all ATSC HDTV formats including 720p, 1080i and 1080p. The light output is a stunning 1500 ANSI lumens with a contrast ratio up to 12000:1, so your family and friends can experience the thrill of top quality digital theater in your home at any time! What used to cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars, full factory calibration is included in each HDP420. ISF Certified Calibration Controls allow for professional set-up of 14 individual settings. Once programmed these cannot be deleted or altered unless intentionally modified. An all glass 12 element lens, DNX video processing by Pixelworks, Darkchip3 light engine by Texas Instruments, and proprietary software by Knoll, the HDP420 has all the best features, packed into one projector! The high-speed color wheel virtually eliminates “rainbows” and disturbing motion artifact problems. Packaged in an aesthetically pleasing chassis, it can be ceiling or floor mounted. Most movies are filmed in 2.35:1 to 2.40:1 aspect ratios (also known as Cinemascope). The HDP420 features built in scaling support to allow these images to be viewed at the highest possible resolution (30% or more higher resolution than a 1080p plasma or direct view lcd) called anamorphic (requires anamorphic lens, available separately). We recommend the Panamorph brand of anamorphic lens. Click here to go to the Panamorph web site. The HDP420 delivers perfect high-definition images that
light up the screen. It’s easy to indulge yourself, simply contact
your local Knoll dealer for a demonstration. DLP and Digital Light Processing are trademarks of Texas Instruments. DNX is a trademark of Pixelworks. Knoll is a trademark of Pacific Sound & Signal Inc. |
