The HDP460 boasts a native resolution of 1920 x 1080, is fully DTV compatible, and will accept and display all ATSC HDTV formats including 720p, 1080i and 1080p. The light output is a stunning 1600 ANSI lumens with a contrast ratio up to 15000:1, so your family and friends can experience the thrill of top- quality digital theater in your home at any time.

What used to cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars, full factory calibration is included in each HDP460. ISF Certified Calibration Controls allow for professional set-up of 14 individual settings. Once programmed these cannot be deleted or altered unless intentionally modified. An all glass 12-element lens, DNX™ video processing by Pixelworks™, Darkchip4™ light engine by Texas Instruments®, and proprietary software by Knoll; the HDP460 includes all the best features, packed into one projector!

The high-speed color wheel virtually eliminates “rainbows” and disturbing motion artifact problems. Packaged in an aesthetically pleasing chassis, it can be ceiling or floor mounted.

Most movies are filmed in 2.35:1 to 2.40:1 aspect ratios (also known as Cinemascope). The HDP460 features built-in scaling support to allow these images to be viewed at the highest possible resolution (30% or more higher resolution than a 1080p plasma or direct view LCD) called anamorphic (requires anamorphic lens, available separately).
