Knoll engineers have designed an all new indoor outdoor speaker that delivers uncompromised sonic quality. High efficiency and high power handling from exotic materials make for great sound quality. Silk, kevlar and neodymium (a rare earth element) are have been studiously blended to give top of the performance, expected from this class of speaker.  

Silk dome tweeters with highly magnetic neodymium magnets feature give pristine highs unattainable in most speakers in its class. The bass is tight with definition as the long excursion woofer is made from kevlar, the same stiff material used on the sails of racing yachts and bullet-proof vests. With finely tuned 3-pole crossovers these speakers have the desirable sonic characteristic of transparent vocals and they are very musical.

OUT650 speakers can be placed in virtually any location, ceiling or wall, indoor or outdoor, even next to CRT televisions. Rated for use from -15° to 160°F (-25° to 70°C), the OUT650 is an all temperature and all weather speaker and it can even take salt spray. Stainless steel screws with brass fittings, powder coated aluminum grills, rear sealed woofers tweeters and crossovers all make the OUT650 speakers ideal for the beach, boat, ski slope or wherever all weather versatility is needed.  They can be used for stereo, home theater and surround sound applications. The OUT650 is a 6-1/2” 2-way with a 1” silk dome tweeter. Power requirements are 5 to 125 watts.

Wire Requirements:

When pre-wiring for Knoll OUT650 speakers, the ideal wire to use is low oxygen copper, minimum 18 gauge. Runs longer than 33' (10 m) should be minimum 16 gauge wire. When "pre-wiring" leave an extra 3' (1 m) at each end to allow easy component installation.
