The SP66 is designed for flush mount installations in walls or ceilings, in both new and existing construction. Supplied with a pearl white finish, they can be installed as is, painted or covered with a light cloth to compliment any wall decor. SP66 in-wall speakers eliminate the floor clutter usually associated with high output speakers and don't require dusting!

Ideal placement of SP66 speakers is wall-mounted, both speakers on the same wall, about head height and 6-10' (2-3 m) apart. Ideally they are away from corners and directly in front of the listening area. Moderate or large size rooms with ceiling mounted speakers normally require two or more pairs of speakers for the best sound quality and coverage, with the lowest overall volume levels.

Wire Requirements:

When pre-wiring for Knoll SP66 speakers, the ideal wire to use is low oxygen copper, minimum 16 gauge. Runs longer than 33' (10 m) should be minimum 14 gauge wire. When "pre-wiring" leave an extra 3' (1 m) at each end to allow easy component installation.
