WIN600
Architectural requirements are becoming more sophisticated with more speakers in more rooms. This places greater demands on existing components. The Knoll WIN600 provides a cost-effective solution to safely power two to six pairs of stereo speakers from a single stereo amplifier or receiver. Our exclusive patent pending Transformer-Free™ design assures that all speakers connected will always sound their best, regardless if they are similar or dissimilar model types. The full music frequency response and original dynamic range is always maintained, allowing the stereo signal to pass to the speakers without the compression effect associated with typical transformer or limiter based interfaces. Stereo room volume controls can be used in some or all of the rooms and volume changes in one room will not affect the volume in other rooms. Power handing is no problem as the WIN600 is rated for 200 watts per channel (24-hour rating). Installation is quick and simple, even for first time users. Transformer-Free™ is more reliable than other designs because it has six discrete stereo outputs, not a single large coil. The cost-effective WIN600 features top sound quality, high power capacity with slim line design to maintain complete musical integrity. The Knoll SI1x6 stackable 17" wide x 1-3/4" high stereo interface is also available. Call your dealer for more details. Specifications:
Wire Requirements: Speaker wire for the WIN600 should be copper, minimum 16 gauge. Runs longer than 33' (10 m) should be minimum 14 gauge wire. Two wire pairs (left and right) are run from the stereo amplifier or receiver to the stereo interface. Two more wire pairs are run to each volume control (optional), then one wire pair continues to each speaker. When "pre-wiring", leave an extra 3' (1 m) at each end to allow easy component installation. |
