Dynamic Black™ automatic iris adjusts the iris to give you the optimum picture quality of maximum black level or maximum brightness depending on the source material and room conditions. April 20, 2009 The GSZ44 is now available for shipping from Knoll Systems

Knoll Systems is delighted to announce that its third generation of multi-channel, high-quality power amplifiers with a four source four room model is available. Like it predecessors, the GSZ44 is designed to meet the amplifier needs of custom installed multi-zone systems where high-quality sound is a specific requirement.

The GSZ44 is the newest member of the Knoll Eco-System™ family of products. This amplifier consumes almost no energy when the unit is turned on and in standby. In fact it is so efficient, when a channel is not in use it is shutdown drawing almost no power. This feature saves thousands of dollars in power and air conditioning costs over the lifetime of the GSZ44.

Some of the GSZ44 features include: four–rooms zone 30 watts per channel RMS (60 watts total per room) with an 81 step volume control; excellent sound quality with class AM amplifiers and automatic protection circuitry.

July 8, 2008 Knoll Systems introduces new family of splitters and switchers

We here at Knoll are thrilled to announce and launch our latest product line of splitters and switchers. The HDIDA2, 4 and 8 are splitters that all have key features which include connecting eight or more HDMI displays at the same time to the same source, allowing simultaneous display, and supporting 480i/p, 720p and 1080i/p resolutions.

The HDMISW2 and HDMISW4 are HDMI switchers that are used to switch from two to four HDMI sources into one display or switcher or distribution amp. The output is fully HDCP compliant and can pass HDMI 1.3.

January 31, 2008 Knoll Systems introduces new Sales and Marketing Director

Richard Hanson has joined Knoll Systems and is the new sales and marketing director.

Richard is an engineer (BSEE) and brings a wealth of experience to this position as a dealer/integrator, factory and independent sales representative, distributor, sales trainer with Zig Ziglar, as well as manufacturer with national and international electronic sales, product design, engineering, and manufacturing experience. August 21, 2007 Knoll Systems is thrilled to introduce its HDMI safety rated balun system

Almost all conventional HDMI wires are generally safety unrated and most jurisdictions require a minimum class 2 to install wires inside walls. The most cost effective method to install a legal HDMI inwall run is to use CAT 5e or CAT6 wires and Knoll’s HDMI baluns. You will also be able to send DVD, cable TV, satellite and digital pictures and sound from a few feet away to an incredible 70 feet (21 meters) of cable with no discernible video distortion or cable loss. The Knoll balun system offers superior performance than the more expensive, specialized designer cables.
